Our Story

  1. 2019

    Bitter Blood

    Jacob Jørgensen and Anton Abebe Lind-Iversen met on the Film & TV Production programme in Copenhagen. They shot their first short, Bitter Blood, that autumn.

  2. 2020

    We scored it ourselves

    After Bitter Blood was finished, we wrote the music for it too. An original album, made with the Danish music producer Jacob Jensen.

  3. 2021

    United States

    Bitter Blood took our first festival recognition at the Illume Short Film Festival in the United States.

  4. 2022

    Two films in one year

    We released Vi Lyser i Mørket, also known as We Glow in the Dark, and Is Friday. Vi Lyser i Mørket was selected at the Swedish International and Dumbo festivals.

  5. 2023

    Minehubs becomes a company

    We incorporated, with Jacob Jørgensen as CEO, Anton Abebe Lind-Iversen as CHRO and Jacob Søsborg as COO. That June, Vi Lyser i Mørket won Best Student Short Film at Atlantic Bridge in Amsterdam.

  6. 2024

    Venice, and Best Drama in Japan

    We were granted industry trade accreditation for the Venice International Film Festival, our CEO 22 at the time. Bitter Blood won Best Drama at the Japan International Film Festival.

  7. 2025

    I Regnen Ser Jeg Dig

    Emil G. Mogensen's psychological drama premiered, written by Christoffer Fischer and Christoffer Jorge Thomsen, produced by Jacob Jørgensen and Mette Foldberg Friis. Our second year at Venice.

  8. 2026

    A home for the films

    Our shorts used to live on Ekko, then YouTube, and kept disappearing after a few months. So we built our own place to keep them. Watch any of them for free, and find the stills in Frames.
